Final blog post for 2017

Today is the last day we get to have our Chromebook at school for 2017 .  I have had an awesome year this year. I was in Mr Goodwin literacy  class and Miss parrants maths class.

My highlights from this year were the year six camp it was fun to get to know people better and do fun activities and play around.

I have learnt  how to make a hacky sack it was easy and  fun to make.

im excited for next year because i want to  learn new things.

My Weekend

Walt: structure a recount. 
On Sunday it was father's day.
I went to the Manakau cemetery to visit my papa and uncle.  What did you do on father's day?

While i was at the cemetery with my aunty and uncle and my cousins  We were playing rugby.
Then we left to go to my nana's in otara  then when we got there listening to music and playing hide and seek in the dark we were having fun as a family.

Then my nana made cocolasa and pudding with custard it was warm and yummy then we were all sad to go but my nana said sleepover. In the morning we left about 7:00 am and we were late!. I enjoyed father's day.


One thing i learnt was is if you have a dad or not you should still do something for your mum she's your father mother and be helpful and  she will always be there for you.

Anyways i will like to say

Today we finally got to eat some dead crickets.  Mrs Stickland put some on a paper towel and some chocolate flavoured mud on a plastic knife.

It was crunchy and yuck. Me and my team said let's do it all together, then we all counted  down altogether 5,4,3,2, 1 Go! We chewed it and said yuck. The chocolate flavoured mud.

That was the worst experience ever. I never want to do it again in my life. I will never eat crickets with chocolate flavoured mud again, it is even more yuck thinking about it!

My narrative.

Once upon a time there was a spider called jozlosuse and a bug called the claw.

They both were kind and were curious about  each other and  they spent most of their life learning about each other.

The biggest problem is that he can't jump that high to catch his prey.

He tries to find a way to jump and get his food. His first idea was to eat the leaf.

His second idea was to throw a stick at it.

They finally meet and was shocked of what they saw of each other.

They finally did what they wanted to do and see they both  died together it was cute .The end

My tui

the tui is native bird to new Zealand and they are cool.

Mosquito

   A mosquito is so yuck because it can spread germs and diseases. It has long stinger and has an oval, thin body. It is a nunsense to human and makes an annoying buzzing sound in the middle of the night.

Year 5 and 6 camp!

On camp it was teams vs other teams.

They were in for the competition to see who had the best team.

The leader for my team was Tehillah and leite they were cool leaders.

My teacher for camp was Mrs west.

Camp is a hole lot of fun there can be different games but my favourite game was killer zone .The camp started on Wednesday till Friday at school we slept in tents.

We played games they were… killer zone, Get lost, table tennis.

My group was presidents and we did youth town first then kayaking.

My favourite part is swimming at the pools on Friday

Because it was funny and my mum came to help.

On Friday i was hot but once i hopped in the pool it was cool.

Thank you for making food and keeping the tent down thank you to all the cool helpers for a amazing camp even if it was cold at night and windy. Thank you for being here for all of us.

I learnt that no matter what you will make it through the night when it is windy and cold.

Be good and learn new things. Thank you again helpers.

Have you ever had to run from goldpost to the next goldpost before.                                                   

Well i have.

We were so surprised  i had weird feeling that something was gonna happen like i had to watch moana over and over. Then Mr Goodwin walked us to the field then we knew we had to run so we all said what.

Then gave us the instructions they were……

No loud noises because the other classes are working.

You don't  have to  go fast but it is a sprint.

Then when he said go! I got fright. Then we ran well I had a sore foot so i couldn't run i just ran to a small pile of grass. And when i sat down it felt yuck. Then were numbered to have a drink. It was the worst run ever. hehehehe.

Walt: write a recount about our experience. How do we make a tower of news paper.

I wanted to help but they wouldn't let me help i was very excited to do it but i was blocked.

Then when we came second i was happy soo happy.

We were having fun well they had fun and it looked cool.

When Mr Goodwin said no hands chastity touched the paper and wasn't listening.

I had fun in the best teacher Mr Goodwin.

We had a paper and a pencil to use to plan.

It was easy to come up with ideas.

Well for me it was i don't know about them.

The coolest bit was when we came second.

No one knew what to do to make the tower stand.

We had fun and it was tall but it fell.

The were yelling at each other.

They were happy to do the tough challenge.

I learnt that Mr Goodwin is always good to us.

I learnt that teamwork is good be creative.

I learnt that you should always try new things.

I learnt that teamwork is the key to the fun.
